A wooden model I made for someone special. Sabacon is a genus within the order Opiliones (Harvestmen, an order of arachnids often confused with spiders). They are noted for their relatively small size and proportionally large bristly pedipalps, and are often found hidden beneath rotting logs.
The body and palps are carved from English ivy wood, and the legs are made from toothpicks. |
