The G'wh'n is the preferred steed of all Vlivdhian warriors. They form a close bond with their rider, and have even been known to outlive them. G'wh'ns have ventral pockets on either side of the base of their tail, which open when they run, acting as a rudimentary wing and thus providing lift to allow an even speedier gallop. In some related species, the ventral pockets have evolved into fully functional wings.
